i'm Back....

What a trip...
On Monday i went to Kuala Lumpur on one of the most luxurious buses i have ever been on. This was the cheapest one!!! I immediately knew that i was not in South Africa anymore. During my travels i had prayed...without ceasing...that God would guide me and help me like He promised. I arrived in KL and got out of the bus as the windows of heaven burst open in litres and litres of rain that poured down. I could have stayed and just waited it out...but since i love rain, miss rain and was in a hurry i decided to bolt. I had great fun being lost and asking for directions. I have been to KL before and thought i understood the Malay accent but i was mistaken. I managed to track down the YMCA where i would be spending the night. What an interesting experience. It was like spending the night on the stoep (porch) of an inner city outreach organisation in South Africa. The YMCA is in the middle of a busy place. The whole night i was 'entertained' by shouts of Hindi, car engines revving so high, motorcycles making' noise and hot sticky air. By now you have gathered that i didn't sleep much. In the morning i checked out and then had some nice complementary breakfast in the YMCA coffee shop across for a very think Afrikaans accent accompanied by green Kroc's.
I made my way to Klang on the Train. I sat on that train for an hour and studied the busy and sleepy people.
I reached Klang and met my contact there. This lady is one of the prettiest Indian ladies i have ever met. She has a beautiful heart for God! We had a quick meeting with her husband and then went to the local food courts where i had curry soup with everything in it! Pork, chicken, fish, egg, noodles...you name it and it was in there! After that we went back to her home to have some chai (Indian tea). I caught the hour-train to reach KL Central by 08:00pm. I hanged around that area and caught the night train to Singapore. Yes...the one with sleeping berths where you lie in a very small cramped bedjie (small bed in Afrikaans) and get thrown around like it is nobodies business. I guess it is what it would be like to sleep in a tumble dryer...
It might sound horrific but i had a blast. I did realise that i HATE traveling alone! Yes...not dislike...HATE!!!!
Anyway, i arrived safely in Singapore on Wednesday morning...tired beaten up and ready for bed and a nice shower.
Here are some pics of my journey..
