the story of the silence...

I am writing to you from the 34th floor of a Skyscraper in Singapore. In the last weeks many things have changed. We sailed into the Port of Albany and had an amazing time. We had a bit of sattelite troubles but nobody died...the week we spent in that port was crazy.
Monday i found out i was leaving for Line Up in Singapore on Saturday!
Tuesday i had a programme in the morning.
Wednesday i had 2 programmes and we sailed out of Albany.
(I also had a chat with Magda - my best friend - and we cried because we knew the chances of seeing each other soon was a bit....well not definite!)
Thursday we were sailing and i had to pack as we found out 2 days before that we were actually leaving on Friday.
Friday we sailed into Fremantle and left the ship 2 hours later!
Friday afternoon we caught a plane to Singapore...

Jip life on line up is one great adventure. Just an hour ago i was sitting in a foodcourt taking in the smell of a mixture of the asian foods prepared all around us. Roopa (my teammate) and i were chatting to Uncle George. He did line up for 13 years backin the day when they had to lug around portable typewriters and such. He is such a nice guy...
Anyway...
We will be here for the next 5 weeks.
I will post some pictures soon!

wow - that was quick! Singapore, eh? Is it a programme port or a drydock? Give Roopa a hug from me!! (seriously, cause she is one of the only people I hug).
